What are the symptoms of adenoids?

Due to recurrent infections or allergies, adenoids tend to get swollen. Sometimes, to such an extent that they blow the nasal passage, leading to blocked nostrils. It can be very severe if if the swelling is huge. Swollen adenoids would lead to mouth breathing and hence a tendency to keep mouth open all the time.
